SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's soccer team fell 6-1 to the University of Wisconsin-Superior in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play on Saturday afternoon in Superior, Wis. Senior
Aaron Mackall scored the lone goal for the Cougars.

The win moves the Yellowjackets to 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the UMAC, while the Cougars drop to 3-4-1 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

UW-Superior wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, netting the first goal just two minutes and one second into the match. By the 10-minute mark, the Yellowjackets had extended their lead to 3-0. Minnesota Morris responded with improved defense for the remainder of the half, with goalkeeper
Nick Isensee making several key saves.

Mackall capitalized on a loose ball, driving through the UWS half and firing a shot to put the Cougars on the board. However, just three minutes later, the Yellowjackets regained a two-goal cushion to lead 4-1 at halftime.

In the second half, the Cougar offense struggled to gain momentum, with
Jacob Lee recording the team's only shot. UW-Superior added two more goals to close out the game with a 6-1 victory.

Mackall's goal marked his 12th of the season, continuing his strong offensive form. Isensee recorded 12 saves in goal for Minnesota Morris.

The Cougars return home for a 2 p.m. matchup against the University of Northwestern on Wednesday.
