Streak Lives in Win

Box Score ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – The Cougars (7-3, 6-1 UMAC) made it five straight shutout victories with a 5-0 win over Crown (4-6-1, 2-4-1 UMAC) on Thursday. Kebra Rogers had a pair of goals in the win.
 
It took until the 27th minute for Minnesota Morris to get on the board when Rogers scored an unassisted goal. The goal seemed to open up the match and the Cougars took advantage. Kelsi Kolle scored in the 31st minute and then Rogers scored another one in the 37th minute to give UMM a 3-0 lead at the break. Emma LaChance had the assist on Kolle's goal and Kolle had the assist on the second goal by Rogers.
 
Kolle had her second assist of the game on Carly Denler's 62nd minute goal and then Emily Moore made it 5-0 in the 64th minute. Rachel Berns and Ally Heida had the assists on Moore's goal. Denler scored a goal in the fifth straight match.
 
Crown will visit Minnesota Morris on Saturday afternoon.
