The Cougar baseball team is heading north on Wednesday (Mar. 28) to play their first action in Minnesota this season. Morris will be heading to Moorhead, Minn. to play the Cobbers of Concordia-Moorhead. First pitch for the doubleheader is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
The Cougars are coming off their annual spring break baseball trip to Fort Myers, Fla. where they competed against teams from across the country and unfortunately left without a win. This will be the Cougars first action in Minnesota this season, as their previous game against Augsburg was cancelled due to a snowstorm in Minneapolis.
The Cobbers are currently 5-7 on the season, as they have played all their games indoors at the Metrodome. Before the game against the Cougars, Concordia-Moorhead will play a doubleheader against Jamestown.
Apr. 2, 2011 was the last time the Cobbers and Cougars played with Concordia getting the best of Morris. The Cobbers won the first game 10-3, and the second game 20-6.
