MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris is finalizing preparations for a mid week doubleheader as they take on Crown College tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Cougar Field. The schedule also saw some changes on Monday as the Cougars shifted around their schedule.
Thursday's scheduled doubleheader against Hamline has been canceled; there is no plans for a makeup date. Games against Bethany Lutheran will be made up with a single game on April 17 and a doubleheader on April 27. All three games will be played in Mankato. The Cougars will play one game with Concordia College at 1 p.m. in Moorhead on April 13. The road game against Crown will be played 3 p.m. in Watertown on April 16.
Morris has been off since their 4-3 win over Northland College on March 30. They will look to start the UMAC season with back-to-back wins for the first time since 2012, when they began the year with a three game sweep of Crown. A win tomorrow would give the Cougars their fifth win of the season, matching their total from a shortened 2013 season.
