MORRIS, Minn. – For the first time since 2004 the women's track and field team is UMAC Outdoor Champions. The women won five events on Saturday and finished with 243 points. The men finished third on Saturday afternoon, scoring 117.5 points.
 
The women's 4x100 came up just .01 short of tying the meet record, as they won the 4x100m relay in 49.55 seconds. Teja Foy, Alicia Doerr, Sidney Paulson and Emily Ciesynski made up the sprint relay.
 
Morris women ended the meet by winning the 4x400m relay. Paulson, Laura Borkenhagen, Emily Ciesynski and Foy teamed up for the victory in 4:05.04.
 
Foy would go on to win the 100m, finishing just ahead of teammate Doerr. Paulson took home the 400m title, winning in 59.25.
 
Sami Brinkman won the discus, her second win of the weekend, by throwing 34.69m. Brinkman took third in the shot put with a throw of 11.66m. Kassidy Pryzmus was second in the discus, throwing 34.26m.
 
Molly McGrath took third in the triple jump with a mark of 10.72m. Rachel Wingenbach was third in the 5,000m finishing under 20 minutes with a time of 19:56.66.
 


Justin Terry won the 100m in a time of 10.60, wind aided by just .1 mph.
 
Chalmer Combellick finished just two seconds off his record setting pace from 2013, winning the 1500m in 4:03.79.
 
Devan Griffin placed first in the triple jump with a length of 12.81m. He beat out teammate Shamund Gordon who placed second with a mark of 12.57m.
 
Cole Kvistero was third in the 110m hurdles in a time of 15.69.
