MORRIS, Minn. – UMN Morris Athletics has announced a leadership change for the Cougar baseball program, as head coach Grant Harding will not return next season. A national search for the next UMN Morris head baseball coach is currently underway.
"I would like to thank Coach Harding for his dedication and contributions to the Cougar baseball program and the University of Minnesota Morris," interim director of athletics Matt Johnson said.
Harding assumed the head coach role in 2013 after five seasons as an assistant coach for the Cougars in baseball and football. During his tenure as head coach, Harding's student-athletes garnered 12 First Team All-UMAC honors, 14 Honorable Mention All-UMAC plaudits, and 50 UMAC All-Academic awards.
