SUPERIOR, Wis. – Freshman McKenna Langerud tallied a time of 5:23.97 en route to the mile title on day one of the 2019-20 UMAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships. After day one of competition, the Cougars are in second-place with 66 points.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Brooke Lorentz tallied a fourth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run with her time of 20:24.61.
- The 4x200-meter relay of Terry, Benson, Sierra Walker, and Hogan tallied a time of 2:01.13 to place third.
- In the distance medley relay, Yeager, Ladwig, Lorentz and Langerud finished second with a time of 13:54.67, which ranks sixth in school history.
- Terry cleared a height of 4-9.5 to place third in the high jump. Along with Terry, Walker took sixth with a height of 4-7.5.
- In the long jump, Hogan finished fifth with a distance of 14-8.
- For the Cougars in the weight throw, Jessica Bliese posted a distance of 49-3.75, which improves her No. 3 standing at UMN Morris, to place second, Kari Didier tallied a mark of 44-10.75 to take third, Hailey Gill posted a distance of 43-7.25 to finish fourth, and Jenica Moes tallied a distance of 41-5.75 to take seventh.
