A fine wrestler and football player at Minnesota Morris, Duane Koslowski was a national champion and All-American in wrestling in 1981.
After his college career, Koslowski was the 1986 National Greco-Roman champion at super heavyweight and represented the U.S. in the World Championships where he placed fourth. He was a member of the 1988 U.S. Olympic team and wrestled in Seoul, finishing seventh.
