Hall of Fame
Paul Seaton was a four-year baseball and basketball player for Minnesota Morris. Nearly 50 years later, many of his marks on the diamond are still among the leaders in program history including a .350 career batting average, 83 RBIs, 33 doubles, nine triples, and 12 home runs. His 36 RBIs in the 1976 season stood alone as a single-season school record until it was matched just this past season. Seaton was named All-NIC in his final three seasons with the Cougars and he led the NIC in batting average in his sophomore season with an average of .469. A point guard on the NIC-winning 1976-77 basketball team, Seaton was inducted into the Cougar Hall of Fame in 1998 as part of that team's recognition.
