Steve Aamodt was an unstoppable force in the post for Cougar men's basketball between 1987-88 and 1990-91. A First Team All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) selection in his final three seasons at Minnesota Morris, Aamodt was a big reason for the Cougars recording four straight winning seasons during his time with the program, including a pair of runner-up finishes in the NSIC. Aamodt finished his career as the all-time leading scorer in program history with 1,871 points, a mark that is currently third. He also has the program's record for made field goals with 762 and is third in career rebounds with 879. His 230 made field goals as a senior in 1990-91 is yet another program record that stands to this day.
