Shane Pribyl was an outstanding two-sport athlete in football and baseball, receiving All-American honors in football in 1990 and in baseball in 1991. He continues to hold the school record for receiving yards in a season (1,277) and numerous school records in baseball including career hits (193), runs (122), RBIs (112), doubles (41), and home runs (16).
