Jason Cordes competed in Cougar baseball and basketball. With 1,608 points, Cordes places in the top 10 scorers in men's basketball history. He holds several 3-point records including most three-pointers made (107) and attempted (243) in a season, along with the most three-pointers made (268) and attempted (627) in a career.
Cordes played during two record-setting seasons for two Cougar teams during his UMN Morris career. The 1993-94 basketball team set a school record with 25 wins, while the 1995 baseball team set a school record with 21 wins that stood for 27 years.
